Industrial grade fumaric acid is mainly used to produce unsaturated polyester resin. It is also widely used in the production of aspartic acid and L-malic acid. It is also widely used in the production of fine chemicals such as oil additives, adhesives, electrophoretic paints and pharmaceuticals with various preservatives.

Food grade fumaric acid and cold water-soluble fumaric acid are mainly used as sour agents in the food industry, while cold water-soluble fumaric acid is mainly used in the production of various cold drinks and Western-style wines due to its instant solubility in cold water.

Shape: the pure product is white columnar or acicular crystal, with relative density (solid at 20 ℃) of 1.635, melting point (tube sealing) of 287 ℃, sublimation at 200 ℃ without decomposition, boiling point of 290 ℃, low solubility in water, dissolution of 0.69g in 100g water at 25 ℃, special sour taste, pure taste and strong acidity, about 1.5 times that of citric acid.
